Artificial intelligence: Senegal hosts the 6th indaba 2024 deep learning event

On September 1, 2024, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Dr El Hadji Abdourahmane DIOUF, inaugurated the 6th Deep Learning Indaba at Amadou Makhtar Mbow University. The event, which runs until September 7, positions the Senegal as a major player in the field of artificial intelligence in Africa.

The Minister underlined government strengthen the local AI ecosystem through an ambitious national strategy. The Deep Learning Indaba 2024 marks an important step towards placing Africa at the forefront of technological innovation.
