Construction suspension extended in certain areas of the country

A memo has been issued concerning an extension of the suspension of all land transactions in various areas of the country. For a period of 45 days. The memo is signed by the Direction Générale de la Surveillance et du Contrôle de l'Occupation du Sol and its Director General, Colonel Amadou Ousmane BA.

In the aforementioned document, Colonel Ba explains the purpose of the memo and the areas concerned: "In application of the instructions received and in accordance with my referenced memo, the measure suspending all forms of construction, with the exception of projects initiated by the State, is extended for a period of forty-five (45) days, from October 31, 2024, in the following areas: Housing estate BOALotissement Hangar Pèlerins; Lotissement Recasement 2- Aéroport Dakar; Lotissement EGBOS sur la VDN à Dakar; Lotissement EOGEN 1 et EOGEN 2; Site de Batterie à YoffThe Terme Sud Ouakam site; Pôle Urbain de Diacksao - Bambilor on TF 11 651/R; Pôle Urbain de Déni on TF 14 337/R; the Pointe Sarène site for the non-SAPCO zone; Lotissement de Ndiobène Gandiol on TF 136 in Saint-Louis".

The persons concerned and other State bodies have been asked to implement this order.

"I attach great importance to the strict implementation of these instructions by the zonal brigade commanders, in their respective areas of competence.

Minister Secretary General of the Government (ATCR); CEAC Section Domaniale; all Brigade Commanders; all Heads of Service," says Colonel Amadou Ousmane Ba.
