Groundnut marketing campaign: a circular from the Minister of Agriculture bans the export of seeds

The marketing of groundnuts is set to take a new turn this year. Indeed, a circular from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural food sovereignty The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has issued a ban on the export of peanut seeds, effective November 15.

In the document signed by the Minister Mabouba Diagne it says:

"As of November 15, 2024, all exports of peanut seeds are suspended until further notice. Any license or authorization not performed by that date becomes null and void.
